Town of Fairview - Request for Proposal - REQUEST FOR PREQUALIFICATION…

The Town of Fairview (the Town) invites Prequalification Submissions from interested Contactors for the rehabilitation
of the Town’s Water Reservoir No 2.
It is the intention of the Town to prequalify General Contractors with experience in the structural rehabilitation of
water retaining structures and installation of approximately 100 m of 400 mm diameter PVC water pipe.
The Prequalification is the first of a two-stage procurement process. This stage involves selecting the Respondents
that meet the requirements of the Prequalification, who will then be invited by the Town to submit a quotation for the
Invitational Tender to be issued on or before April 30, 2026.
Submissions shall be submitted electronically via the Bids and Tenders website at http://ae-ab.bidsandtenders.ca and
received until 2:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time), February 19, 2026.
Prequalification Package Documents will be available on the Bids and Tenders website ( https://aeab .
bidsandtenders.ca) on or after January 30, 2026. Respondents are required to check for any updated information
and addenda issued before the closing date and time at the Bids and Tenders website ( https://aeab .
bidsandtenders.ca).
It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that its submission is received by Bids and Tenders, by the
stipulated time. Submissions received after the stipulated time will be rejected by the Town. The time as indicated by
the declining time clock on the Online Bidding System shall be the official time for closing.
Any changes to the Prequalification Package Documentation will be issued by means of written addenda and posted
to the Bids and Tenders website and will form part of the Submission. No amendment of any kind to the
Prequalification Package is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum. Upon submitting to this
Prequalification Package, the Respondent will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that have been
posted and deemed to have considered the information for inclusion in the tender submitted.

nicolls@ae.ca . Questions will be received up to 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Questions received after this time will not be responded to. No questions are to be directed to the Town.
