Town of Coaldale - Request for Proposal - One (1) New Wheeled Loader

The Town of Coaldale is looking to purchase One (1) New Wheeled Loader to be used in Town Operations primarily by the Public Works and Roads departments, but also to provide a variety of job tasks for other Town departments in the course of their daily operations. Priorities include:

1.        Loading materials into dump trucks and removal from work sites, materials include but are not limited to; sand, pea gravel, ¾” crushed gravel, dirt, concrete, asphalt, wood and garbage.
2.        Providing snow clearing and removal functions.
3.        The ability to quick attach forks as this unit is the Towns fork lift for palletized and oversized materials. Quick attach coupler is required.

The Town currently uses a 2009 John Deere 524K that we are looking to replace with a comparable sized new unit. Visibility of the unit is important and must ensure work is performed in a manner that protects the safety of the operator, the general public and Town property.
