Town of Apex - Request For Qualifications Public Art Master Plan

The Town of Apex, North Carolina, invites qualified consultants or consultant teams (“Consultant Team”) to develop a Public Art Master Plan that will serve as a visionary and strategic roadmap for the Town’s public art program. The plan should reflect the community’s values, aspirations, and identity—while also aligning with the goals of the Culture and Arts Advisory Board. It should inspire public and private investment, propose innovative approaches to art in public spaces, and offer a practical framework for implementation over the next ten years.

The estimated schedule for completion of the plan, including involvement of the community and presentations to the Culture and Arts Advisory Board and Town Council, is a maximum of 6-8 months. Final deliverables and schedule may be negotiated with the successful firm; however, it is anticipated that the final delivery of all work products will be completed by June 1, 2026.
