The Town of Apex (Town) is seeking Statements of Qualification from qualified firms to perform a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) for Lake Pine to rehabilitate or replace the dam spillway and increase climate resilience through alternatives for enhancing water quality and flood control of the lake.

Interested firms are invited to submit sealed statements for consideration no later than 12:00 PM on February 21, 2025, to the Water Resources Administration Building at 105-B Upchurch St., Apex, NC 27502, sent to the attention of Robert Patterson, Sr. Stormwater Engineer. Late submittals will not be accepted.

Special Requirements:

The SOQ must be submitted in both hardcopy and electronic format no later than 12:00 PM on February 21, 2025. It is the sole responsibility of the consultant to ensure that the SOQ is received by the established deadline and at the proper location.
Hardcopy Submittal: Three (3) hard copies of the SOQ shall be enclosed in a sealed package, addressed to the Town of Apex, and delivered to Water Resources Administration Building at 105-B Upchurch St., Apex, NC 27502, to the attention of Robert Patterson, Sr. Stormwater Engineer. The name and address of the submitting firm, RFQ No. (SE2501) and the RFQ Title (Lake Pine Dam Rehab & Enhancements) shall be clearly visible on the outside of the package.
Electronic Submittal: The SOQ must also be submitted electronically (pdf format) via the Town’s BidNet portal. Visit https://www.bidnetdirect.com (RFQ No. SE2501) to view additional project requirements and to upload the SOQ. Please note that additional information and amendments to this RFQ will be posted to BidNet. It is the responsibility of the respondent to monitor the site accordingly.
Any questions related to the RFQ must be submitted via the Opportunity Q&A section of the BidNet portal or emailed to robert.patterson@apexnc.org. The deadline for submitting questions is 12:00 PM on February 13, 2025.
