Description

Team Alberta North requires transportation for approximately 276 participants and their luggage/sport equipment, using charter aircraft of adequate capacity, for the 2026 Arctic Winter Games. Flights will depart on Saturday, March 7, 2026 and return on Saturday, March 14 / Sunday, March 15, 2026. On March 7, one flight will travel from Fort McMurray, Alberta stopping in Grande Prairie to pick up additional passengers before flying to Whitehorse, Yukon. The additional flight(s) will fly from Grande Prairie, Alberta direct to/from Whitehorse. On return, the flights will fly in reverse, with all planes travelling from Whitehorse to Grande Prairie, and one flight continuing to Fort McMurray.

In addition to 1 piece of personal luggage, and one carry-on bag, the following sport equipment will need to be transported:
