Tormach CNC machine
Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a Tormach CNC machine from Tormach Inc as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. Machine must be a benchtop or compact vertical milling machine with full 4-axis capability, Spindle Speed: Minimum 5,000 RPM, variable speed control, minimum X-axis 18", Y-axis 9", Z-axis 12", at least 1.5 HP, with vector drive for consistent torque, R8 spindle taper or equivalent, compatible with current tool library, must utilize or be fully compatible with PathPilot CNC Controller and must integrate with existing CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360,Siemens NX) An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010.
