II. OFFICE OF STRATEGIC MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS (MARCOMM)

The Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications protects the UNO brand and advances our reputation as a leading public research institution and urban metropolitan university of distinction. Working collaboratively through effective marketing, communication and events, we inform the campus community, enhance public perception , and cultivate excitement among internal and external audiences.

The MarComm Marketing and Brand Management team works to cultivate public awareness of UNO on campus and in our community by way of dynamic publications, out of home advertising, traditional and streaming audio and video, targeted digital advertising, coordinated organic social media, internal/external communications, and media relations.

III. OBJECTIVE

While the specifics of each project may vary, the agency's overall objective should be to develop and execute a media strategy that enhances awareness of the institution and drives prospective student leads to specific units, and programs, while strengthening the overall reputation of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a targeted approach to key audiences.
