The U.S. Government is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of the manufacture of Dehydrator with National Stock Number (NSN 1430-01-073-9488. This notice is issued solely for planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP will be issued on or about 15 August 2025. The anticipated acquisition will result in a 5-Year IDIQ, firm fixed price contract with an estimated minimum quantity of 52 units and a maximum of 72 units over the life of the contract applicable to the Patriot Weapon System (D6).

Source Approval: Parties must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package in accordance with Army SAR guidelines for evaluation and potential qualification.

AMC/AMSC: 3B: This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained.
