Title: Rehabilitation of the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel Manhattan Plaza

The work includes but is not limited to:

• Tunnel Plaza Reconfiguration to improve traffic safety and operations at Manhattan Plaza including installation of new attenuators.
• Replace electrical and communications roadway duct bank system.
• Miscellaneous Manhattan Plaza Retaining wall repairs.
• Miscellaneous West Street Underpass Retaining wall repairs.
• Miscellaneous Structural repairs in Cellular Structure.
• Replace the Lighting System in Cellular Structure.
• Replace the Overheight Detection System (OVDS) sensors in the Manhattan Plaza.
• Replace Greenwich and Washington Street lifts for the Morris Street.
• Pedestrian Overpass and regrade sidewalk area.
• Replace Manhattan Plaza Roadway Lighting.
• Resurface and restripe Manhattan Plaza roadway.
• Rehabilitate Concrete Toll Zone Pavement.
• Restripe West Street Underpass.
• Replace portal trench drains at all four portals at the Manhattan and Brooklyn Plazas
• Repair concrete deficiencies at the underside of the Battery Parking Garage (BPG) over the Manhattan Plaza.
• Replace drainage pipe and hanger system at the underside of the Battery Parking Garage (BPG) over the Manhattan Plaza and JP Ward Street.
• Repair Morris Street Pedestrian Bridge joint cover.
• Construct flood equipment storage enclosure.
• Demo West Street Access booth and install access hatch.
• Replace all manhole lids in Manhattan Plaza.
• Replace Curb ramps and light pole on Washington Street.
• Replace Manhattan Plaza Fire Standpipe System.
• Install new gutter cleanout and trash rack in the Brooklyn Plaza east sidewalk.
• Mill, pave, restripe, and install new delineators for the full length of the East and West tubes
