TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following questions were submitted by a potential bidder. Our answers are listed
below in red:
Q. Are all bidders required to have a collection or processing site within the county?
A. Vendors must have a collection site in the County with applicable permits to
operate. Processing, recycling, and landfilling may occur outside Shelby County.
Q. Are all bidders required to have active and up to date processing permits?
A. All vendors must comply with State permitting rules and regulations.
Q. Are all bidders required to be free of any active NOVs from the state?
A. All vendors must be in compliance with State permitting rules and regulations. An
active Notice of Violation may not have resulted in the suspension or revocation of the
permit. Essentially, vendors must be able to operate and provide the services required.
Sincerely,
