Sealed bids will be received by Tipp City, Ohio, Tipp City Government Center, 260 South Garber Drive, Tipp City, Ohio 45371-3116 on or before Tuesday, February 25,2025 at 2:00 p.m., for the furnishing of all materials and performance of all labor for the New Unconditioned Cold Storage Buildings. Bids will be received for a single lump sum bid consisting of GENERAL CONTRACT WORK at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bids must be made on the official form furnished by the Architect and must be enclosed in sealed envelopes endorsed by the bidder and marked “TIPP CITY OHIO - NEW COLD UNCONDITIONED STORAGE BUILDINGS” and addressed to the attention:

A Bid Guaranty, as follows, is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into:

* A bid bond in the amount of 100% payable to Tipp City, Ohio or

* A certified check, a cashier’s check, Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% payable to Tipp City, Ohio

Plans, Bidding Requirements, Contract Forms and Conditions of the Contract are available at the City’s website at: https://tippcityohio.gov/Bids.aspx . Bidders will be added as a “Plan Holder of Record”, once registered on the website above. All official notifications, addenda and other Bidding Documents will be available through the City’s website. Neither Owner nor Architect will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the website.

No bidder may withdraw his bid after two (2) business days after the date of opening bids, per the Ohio Revised Code 9.31. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding and to award the contract to the bidder who in their consideration offers the lowest and/or best bid.
