The St. Johns River Water Management District (the “District”) is seeking submittals from professional forestry contractors for timber marking services in preparation for thinning timber. This project consists of marking trees for harvest with a spot of paint to identify them for logging contractors to harvest during thinning operations. After each stand is marked, the contractor will perform a timber cruise to estimate timber volume. The timber is subsequently sold through the District's competitive bid process. The District is requesting a three-year contract with two annual renewals available upon mutual written agreement.
