TIMBER MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES

Greenville County is requesting proposals from qualified Timber Management Consultants to provide professional forestry services for County-owned properties (see attachments C, D, E, F & G) associated with solid waste facilities. Services will include implementation of an existing timber management plan, facilitation of timber sales, reforestation, and ongoing stewardship of approximately 1,765 acres of County property.

Forestry activities must be coordinated with landfill cell development schedules, maintenance of required vegetative buffers established through the Facility Issues Negotiation Network (FINN) process, protection of stormwater and MS4 features, and preservation of landfill monitoring wells. The selected Forester will work closely with Solid Waste staff to ensure that timber activities support both revenue generation and long-term operational needs.
