Project Description: The beach tilling work consists of all required elements to perform beach tilling on the dry sand beach berm along the Broward County Federal Shore Protection Project segments listed above and shown in the Drawings. The purpose of the tilling is to penetrate and loosen consolidated beach sand and grade down and level all escarpments to the natural beach contour prior to the start of the marine turtle nesting season (March 1 annually).
