The Project Work is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of select HVAC equipment, including all structural steelwork, roof work, electrical work, fire alarm work, DDC control work, ductwork, and ceiling work required to support the removal and installation of new equipment. The work includes replacing the cooling tower; the replacement of units serving the office area, classrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, corridors, mechanical rooms, and restrooms, as well as the replacement of makeup air units; DDC controls; and repairs to all floors, ceilings, walls etc. impacted by the work. The owner is pre-purchasing all HVAC equipment, curbs, and isolation rails.
Chesapeake Public Schools, including the School Board (hereafter known as the District) seeks bids from qualified, licensed, and insured vendors to provide Thurgood Marshall Elementary School HVAC Replacement .
Through this Invitation For Bid (IFB), the District is seeking to ident ify one or more v endors who can most fully meet the needs of the District as specified in this document and any associated attachments.
