The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids to provide professional landscape maintenance services necessary to complete three-season plantings, consist of the removal of approximately 8,500 bulbs and the planting of approximately 7,400 annuals in late spring, the planting of approximately 1,400 mums in late summer, and the removal of approximately 1,400 mums and the planting of 8,500 bulbs in late fall., in the area around the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex, located at 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois 60007, as well as within the medians of Biesterfield Road from Meacham Road east to Arlington Heights Road.in accordance with the Specifications and Contract Document No. PW-2526-08.

All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. Bid plans and prequalification forms are available on the Village’s website www.elkgrove.org/bids . Once the prequalification form is reviewed and approved by the Village an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved bidder(s). To check on your prequalified status call the Elk Grove Village Public Works Department at (847) 734-8800.

For the purpose of familiarizing bidders with the services required and answering questions, a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove, Illinois, 60007.    Attendance by the bidder or their representative at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory.

Bids will be received until 10:45 AM on Monday, April 14, 2025 and opened at 11:00 AM, local time. The bid opening will be held at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove, Illinois, 60007 and marked to indicate the following:
