Thomson McDuffie Airfield Lighting and Signage Replacement

The City of Thomson is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for Airfield Lighting and
Signage Replacement at Thomson McDuffie Airport. Major items of work include: a Base Bid for the
replacement of the lighting and signage for the Runway and will include fillet widening for the connectors and
minor remarking for the threshold bars. In addition to the Base Bid, an Alternate Bid will be considered for
award and will include the lighting and signage for the Taxiway.
Sealed bids shall be delivered in a package marked with the name of the bidder, the bid number, project
name, and the date and hour of the opening. Bids will be received until 10:00 AM EST on Thursday, April 3,
2025 at the Thomson McDuffie Government Center, 210 Railroad Street, 2nd Floor, Thomson, Georgia
30824, at which time and place they will publicly opened and read aloud.
A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST at Thomson McDuffie Airport
located at 501 John T Lane Road, Thomson, Georgia 30824. Attendance is non-mandatory, but encouraged.
