Third Party Credit Information

The Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (the “Ministry”) provides services that move people toward sustainable employment and assist individuals and families in need. Ministry services are provided under the Acts. For purposes of the Acts, the Ministry determines initial and ongoing financial eligibility for individuals as a condition of eligibility for income assistance, disability assistance, hardship assistance or supplements. An important component of this process is to verify the financial information that applicants for or recipients of assistance under the Acts provide to the Ministry. Credit Information is an integral piece of the third-party verification process required to verify accuracy to ensure assistance goes to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria.
The Contractor will provide Credit Reports to the Ministry that can be used to verify the accuracy of provided information from the Applicant or Client to ensure assistance goes to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria without error and misuse. The Contractor will include information from a Fraud Database in any Credit Report.
The Contractor will provide toll-free customer support during Ministry core business hours (Monday to Friday 8am-5pm PST) for delivery, product, service, and billing inquiries, including but not limited to technical support of online access, file search and multiple file inquiries, file interpretation and product information.
The Contractor will submit to the Ministry, in Microsoft Excel or in a format compatible with, a detailed monthly transaction log auditing all Ministry transactions. Detailed monthly audit reports include but are not limited to regular supervisory audit reports, monthly usage reports, monthly usage summary reports, and ad hoc reports, all of which describe the progress of services undertaken and completed.
In addition, the Contractor will provide training and instruction to Ministry staff in the use of the Contractor’s system used for delivering the Services. Training may take the form of, but be not limited to classroom, video, written, or 1-to-1 sessions.
