ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of West Memphis invites interested partes to submit sealed bids for The Removal of Trees and Other Woody Growth from Ditch 17. Bids will be received at City Hall, 205 S Redding, West Memphis AR. 72301 until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at which time, the bids will be opened and read aloud. The bid opening is open to the public.
The work consists generally of cutting trees and other woody growth, at ground level, on the banks and top of bank of Ditch 17. All trees and debris must be removed from site. The Ditch conveys stormwater to the City’s Stormwater Pumping Station and trees and woody debris can clog and damage the pumps. Ditch 17 is approximately 2 miles in length, however, less than 1 mile needs to be cleared. Trees and woody growth to be removed from both sides of the ditch.
All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of work specified in the bid as required by the State of Arkansas.

The West Memphis Utilities reserves the right to waive irregularities; to reject bids in its sole discretion for any reason; to postpone the award of the contract for a period that shall not exceed beyond 60 days from the bid opening date.
