Description
This is an A-E Synopsis in accordance with FAR 36.102. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Drum is procuring Architect-Engineer (A-E) Design Services for the Modernized Pre-Mix and Nitrocellulose (NC) Dehydration Facilities at Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP). This procurement is conducted under the Brooks Architect-Engineer Act (40 U.S.C Section 1102) and Far subpart 36.102, which require that A-E contracts be negotiated on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required professional services. The objective of this project is to prepare a 30% design for Nitro Cellulose (NC) Dehydration (including NC Shredding), hereinafter referred as NC Dehy, and Pre-Mix facilities at Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) using the most modern, safe, environmentally friendly, and automated technologies to the maximum extent feasible.
