Description
The NOAA Ships require updated handheld radios suite to ensure reliable communication throughout the ship, both when in port and underway. Effective communication is essential for the safe and efficient execution of various operations, such as trawling, fueling, and other critical activities. The current analog radios are outdated and unable to reach certain areas of the ship, which compromises communication and creates potential safety risks, particularly during emergencies.
