the Burt Springs Fence project

Notice is hereby given that SPRINGVILLE CITY INCORPORATED (OWNER) is requesting sealed bids from qualified individual(s) or firm(s) for the Burt Springs Fence project according to specifications provided in this bid contract, and described in general as follows:

Provide all personnel, materials, equipment, fuel, supervision, and quality control required for the installation of approximately 635 linear feet of commercial grade 6-foot ornamental steel fencing, and 670 linear feet of 6-foot black polymer-coated chain-link fence. This includes driving/drilling post holes, and setting posts around the perimeter of the Burt Springs collection area. The project also includes the installation of a single 16-foot wide ornamental steel swing gate and a 24-foot wide black polymer-coated chain-link double swing gate (12 feet per gate), along with 670 linear feet of 2-foot mow strip.

Bids will be accepted by the OWNER until 3:00 PM (local time) on Friday, June 20, 2025. After the deadline, the sealed bids will be opened by Springville Public Works and Springville Finance Representatives. A tabulation spreadsheet will be emailed to all bidders. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The OWNER will make the award decision and contact bidders on or after Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS to be executed by the winning CONTRACTOR may be obtained on or after the date of the bid award at the Springville City Offices, upstairs in the Community Development Office. These documents include an agreement to be signed by both the CONTRACTOR and the OWNER prior to the commencement of any work.

A pre-bid conference will be held on June 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM in person at the Burt Springs site. Attendees will meet in the dirt parking lot at the southeast corner of 2900 East and Canyon Rd, Springville, UT. Bidders intending to submit a bid are encouraged to attend to gather relevant project information.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any informality or technicality in the best interest of the City. Only bids providing a firm quotation, properly submitted and signed, will be accepted.
