This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond.
The Tennessee Air National Guard at Berry Field Air National Guard (ANG) Base, Nashville, TN has been tasked to solicit for and award a project to include but not limited to: provide all labor, equipment, connections, and materials to repair the generator power system for Building 720. This project will involve the retrofitting of existing generators with paralleling equipment, the installation of a new generator docking station, and the extension of new and existing generator feeds. The contractor must tie the new connections into the automatic transfer switch panels. All work shall be in accordance with the written SOW, construction plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include SBA-Certified Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION:
The magnitude of this project is Between $250,000 and $500,000 (in accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204).
RESPONSE SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 10 July 2026, 10:00 A.M. CST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include:
(1) A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor;
(2) A completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting);
(3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and
(4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel (specifically addressing a qualified site superintendent) that would be used to accomplish the contract.
In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
