29th Street Pump Station Electrical Repair

The project is focused on restoring the electrical systems of the 29th Street Pump Station to full functionality at both the pump station and its associated electrical building. To achieve this, a range of repairs and improvements will be undertaken. Key objectives include repairing water damage in the pump station vault, repairing HVAC systems in the vault and electrical building, improving the float switches in the wet well, waterproofing the vault's sump pump, and improving electrical wiring at the vault's lid.

Overall, the initiative focuses on modernizing infrastructure, enhancing redundancy, and, most importantly, ensuring that all systems operate. This will thereby contribute to the efficient management and reliable operability of the pump station.

In February 2025, a comprehensive electrical evaluation was undertaken to identify the issues that must be resolved to restore functionality to the pump station. Following this assessment, the City was provided with an itemized list of the problems requiring attention.
