20th Street Improvements

This Project will update approximately two miles of 20th Street in Joplin Missouri.  Project begins just west of Central City Road and ends just west of Schifferdecker Avenue.  This project will convert an existing two lane open ditch corridor to a three lane facility with center turn lane, curb and gutter & storm sewer.  It includes the construction of two roundabouts. Also included is a parallel 10’ wide multi use path.  It generally consists of installing approximately 10,000 LF of storm sewer with 110 inlets, 22,000 Tons of asphalt, 24 Stations of Linear Grading, two modular block retaining walls, 17,000 LF of curb and gutter, and various other items necessary for completion of the project.
