Sealed proposals must be filed with the Waukee City Facilities Maintenance Manager at the
City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa, before 10:00 AM on the Wednesday April 1,
2026. This demolition project will be awarded Monday April 6, 2026 to the proposal meeting
all project specifications with the lowest cost.
* Obtain demolition permit.
* Remove one story house structure and foundation.

Request for Proposals: 1565 6th Street Waukee, IA 50263 DEMOLITION
Sealed proposals must be filed with the Waukee City Facilities Maintenance Manager at the
City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa, before 10:00 AM on the Wednesday April 1,
2026. This demolition project will be awarded Monday April 6, 2026 to the proposal meeting
all project specifications with the lowest cost.
* Obtain demolition permit.
* Remove one story house structure and foundation.
* Remove attached and unattached out-building structures and foundation(s) and all
additional concrete structures.
* Excavate and remove septic tank.
* Remove all trees on site. Remove stumps. All tree debris to be removed from site.
* Backfill house and other excavation sites with imported black dirt surfacing as
required.
* Remove electrical service pole.
* All backfilled and graded areas to be topped with a minimum of 8" topsoil, stabilized
and seeded (hydroseed or broadcast)
