The City of Casa Grande requests Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Terminal Apron Pavement Reconstruction Project at the Casa Grande Airport (CGZ).

Each response shall be in accordance with the IFB instructions and scope of the work package on file with the City Clerk at City Hall, 510 East Florence Boulevard, Casa Grande, Arizona, 85122. Competitive sealed bids for the specified material or service shall be received by the City of
Casa Grande Clerk's Office, 510 E. Florence Boulevard, Casa Grande, Arizona 85122, until
the time and date cited. Bids received by the correct time and date shall be publicly recorded.
The City of Casa Grande takes no responsibility for informing recipients of changes to the
original solicitation documents. Failure to submit amendments with the solicitation response
shall be grounds for deeming bid non-responsive.
Bids must be in the actual possession of the Clerk's Office at the location indicated, on or prior
to the exact time and date indicated above. Late proposals shall not be considered. The
prevailing clock shall be the City of Casa Grande City Clerk's office clock.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The Bidder's name and address should be
clearly indicated on the outside of the envelope. All bids must be completed in blue or black
ink or typewritten. Questions must be addressed to the persons listed above.

4. INTERPRETATION OF DOCUMENTS
If any person contemplating submitting a bid is in doubt as to the true meaning of any
part of this Request for Bids, or finds discrepancies or omissions in the specifications,
the bidder may submit to the City Clerk, a written request for an interpretation or
correction thereof no later than one (1) week prior to the receipt of bids. The person
submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation or
correction of the proposed documents will be made only by written Addendum duly
issued by the City. Contractor shall be responsible to monitor the City of Casa Grande
web site for any addendums. All Addendums will be posted by the City Clerk's Office
and become a part of the Original Contract Documents and Technical Specifications
Bid Packet. The City will not be responsible for any other explanation or interpretation
of the Request for Bids.
5. ADDENDA
Any addenda issued by the City during the time of bidding shall form a part of the
contract documents and technical specifications bid package provided to the bidder
for the preparation of the bid and shall be acknowledged in the bid and shall be made
part of the contract. No addenda will be issued less than five (5) days prior to the bid
opening.
6. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS
Any bidder may withdraw their bid, either personally or by a written request, at any
time prior to the scheduled time for the opening of bids.
7. ECONOMY OF PREPARATION
Bids should be prepared simply and economically and provide a straightforward and
concise description of the bidder' capabilities to satisfy the requirements of these
guidelines. The bidder shall be responsible for all costs incurred in the proposal and
bid preparation and delivery.
8. SCHEDULE
The following is an estimated schedule of events. The City, however, reserves the
right to alter this schedule of events as necessary and in the best interest of the City.
