Tennis Courts and Site Amenities

The Wilcox County School District is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified design-build teams for the turnkey delivery of a new tennis complex at the Wilcox County Schools campus in Rochelle, Georgia. The scope includes design and construction of eight (8) GHSA-compliant tennis courts with LED sports lighting, perimeter and interior fencing, aluminum bleachers with canopy, potable water and utility connections, concrete ADA-accessible walkways, and associated sitework. An add alternate is requested for a concession/restroom building.

All courts must meet Georgia High School Association (GHSA), NFHS, ADA, and IES standards. The selected team will be responsible for all design, permitting, materials, labor, equipment, and construction services to deliver a fully operational and match-ready facility by April 1, 2026.

Minimum qualifications include a Georgia-licensed design professional (engineer or architect) with at least three completed athletic projects and a Georgia-licensed general contractor with five completed sports facility projects in the last five years. Proposals must include a detailed design narrative, concept drawings, project schedule, cost proposal, team qualifications, GHSA compliance statement, warranties, QA/QC and safety plans, and bonding capacity documentation.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal site walk will be held on August 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. ET on September 4, 2025. For questions, contact burnettw@wilcoxcountyschools.org by August 19, 2025. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
