Temporary Staffing & Recruitment Services

BFT is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish contracts with one or more qualified temporary staffing firms to provide temporary staffing and recruitment services on an as-needed basis. Services may support a wide range of positions including, but not limited to, technical, accounting, administrative, clerical, data entry, and project-based roles.

BFT is a municipal corporation that has provided public transportation services since 1981 within a 618-square-mile service area located in Benton and Franklin counties. This area includes the cities of Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, West Richland, Benton City, Prosser, and Finley, serving a population of approximately 228,992 residents.

BFT experiences fluctuating staffing needs throughout the year due to:

• Immediate short-term assignments
• Specialized skill requirements not readily available through regular recruiting process
• Temporary backfill for vacant or project-assigned positions
• Assist with clerical functions in short-staffed departments

During the previous 12-month period, BFT expended approximately $300,000 on temporary staffing services.
