The City of Norfolk is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to furnish temporary labor services in the following areas: administrative, information technology, professional and non-clerical, trade positions supporting all City of Norfolk (“City”) departments on an as-needed basis.
The temporary personnel will be providing services in the various areas of the City’s operations. The primary goal of this solicitation is to procure a temporary workforce that has the skills, knowledge, abilities and practical experience to provide the services. The individuals providing the work must treat the public, visitors, and City employees with care and consideration. The contractor must provide temporary workers with strong customer service skills.
The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing the type and categories of workers listed in this solicitation, hiring and firing of employees, assignment of employees to the specific City department, establishment and maintenance of a quality control program, to ensure the readiness of the City workforce and quality of life to City citizens, visitors and employees.
