Purpose:
Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19 is conducting a market survey for potential sources to deliver diesel fuel and DEF fluid for the generators running the Grand Junction VA Medical Center station s temporary Emergency Department facility during the renovation of the main campus Emergency Department. The generators are located at WCHCS, 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501.
Material Requirements:
2400 gallons of type two Ultra Low Sulphur Clear Highway diesel fuel per month. The fuel cannot be off road diesel with red dye.
144 gallons per month Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Tote with freeze protection to be provided by supplier.
Miscellaneous Requirements:
Fuel should be pumped from the delivery truck into the station s 1200-gallon fuel tank as needed every five to seven business days to top off any used diesel.
DEF should be delivered and added as required to fill the large tote (approx. 275 gallons) during every diesel delivery.
The Contractor must provide spill containment while pumping into the DEF and Diesel fuel tanks.
