NOTICE TO BIDDERS


The City of Lathrop (“City”), will accept sealed bids for the construction of public improvements for its TEMPORARY ANIMAL CENTER RENOVATION (Project), at the City of Lathrop, California (City). Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lathrop, located at 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA until 2 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Bids submitted by mail shall be addressed to: City of Lathrop, Attention City Clerk, 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA 95330 and conform to Submission of Bids standards within this Section. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Contractors considering bidding on this project must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting to be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 2 PM at the City’s Corporation Yard at 2112 E. Louise Avenue, Lathrop, CA 95330.

The Project is located at 2112 E. Louise Avenue, Lathrop, CA 95330. The work to be performed under this contract is generally described as, but not necessarily limited to the construction, installation or replacement of the following components: artificial turf, roofing and gutters, drainage, concrete waterproofing, dog kennels, plumbing, electrical and framing.

DIR Registration. Bidder must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal, no exceptions. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, all Subcontractors identified in a Bidder’s Subcontractors’ List shall be DIR Registered Contractors. If awarded the Contract for the Work, at all times during performance of the Work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors, of any tier, shall be a DIR Registered Contractors
