Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) seeks to purchase one (1) new, fully assembled heavy-duty telehandler to support operations and training logistics at the FRD Training Academy. The equipment will be used to relocate props, containers, and training materials â including high-reach placements up to four stories.The County is using the JLG 1255 model as a reference standard. Bidders may propose equivalent models that meet or exceed all minimum required specifications. Any bid offering an alternate model must include a completed Performance Specification Checklist.
