Telecommunications Lease - 531 Pulpit Hill Road

The Town of Amherst is inviting proposals to enter into a lease with a telecommunication company to use a portion of the Town-owned property located at 531 Pulpit Hill Road for telecommunication purposes.  Requests for Proposals may be obtained at www.amherstma.gov/bids .

The initial lease will be for a term of ten years and may be extended for two additional ten-year periods for a maximum term of thirty years if the successful proposer is then in compliance with the terms of the lease.

A site visit is scheduled at the property at 1:00pm on April 8, 2026 and proposers are encouraged to attend to visually inspect the property and the existing telecommunication facility.

Proposals shall be submitted no later than 2:00pm on Friday, April 17, 2026 to the Town Accountant’s Office: Town Hall, 4 Boltwood Ave, Amherst, MA 01002 where the proposals will be publicly opened and recorded.

The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part, and to waive minor informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law.
