The proposed project Site, at 98 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, Rhode Island, is located on a portion of RIDOT’s Warwick salt storage shed property, located between the east and west bound lanes of Route 37. The project Site is an existing cleared area with compacted gravel surfaces and concrete block material storage bins, used by RIDOT for sediment storage. The proposed project consists of improving the existing material management area by constructing a sediment storage facility with a paved surface, concrete block storage bin areas, a concrete push wall and construction of a stormwater infiltration pond with a concrete sediment forebay.
