The work shall consist of complete removal and reconstruction of the concrete bridge decks including deck-over-backwall extension details; steel repair and strengthening details; cleaning, metalizing, and painting all steel members; expansion joint replacement; channel band restoration at the abutments; installation of new MASH compliant barriers; reconstructing approach roadway at each end of the bridges including full depth pavement structure and new steel beam guardrail with end treatments; maintenance and protection of traffic; pavement markings, and erosion controls.
