TBS Lab Maintenance Plan for NextSEQ 1000 Sequencer 332936

The Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries is pursuing a sole source purchase of the Illumina NextSeq Sequencing Silver Support Plan for the Thompson Bishop Sparks laboratory of the Alabama Department of Agriculture in Auburn Al.

Requested Product and service:

1. The Illumina NextSeq 1000 Sequencing System must include the NexSeq 1000 Silver Support Plan, which includes coverage for parts, labor, and travel. Also includes Reagent replacement upon hardware failure and 18x5 remote technical support. Illumina Catalog Item Number: 20040648. This will start 4/25/2026 and end 9/30/2027.

   1. Multiple read-length configuration up to 360 Gb per run with the ability to sequence small genomes, exomes, transcriptomes, single-base libraries, and gene panels.

2. Sequencing chemistry - Sequencing by synthesis (SBS) chemistry with reversible- terminator nucleotides.

The brands and model numbers referenced provide a level of quality, and unless otherwise specified, are not restrictive. Suppliers quoting alternate items must provide a complete model/part number as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote. Reference to literature with a previous solicitation will not satisfy this requirement.  Failure to provide the required literature may result in the rejection of the supplier’s response.
