Description

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the provision of a team of software development resources for the prototyping, design, development, operation, scaling and sustainment of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s (RCAF’s) agile software development capability on an “as and when requested” basis. The software development resources will leverage an agile, iterative user-focused methodology along with a a set of practices and tools referred to collectively as DevOps. The DevOps process integrates and automates the work of software development (Dev) and information technology (IT) operations (Ops) as a means of improving and shortening the systems development life cycle by promoting shared responsibility and facilitating collaborative efforts.
