Summary

The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (Authority) invites interested Design Professional firms (Respondent) to submit qualifications to provide professional design services in accordance with Florida Statute Section 287.055 for the design of Taxiway T Relocation (Project) at Tampa International Airport, hereinafter known as Project.

Background

The existing Taxiway T does not currently meet FAA criteria for the aircraft types that use the taxiway. The existing dead-end taxiway provides access to a variety of general aviation tenants with access connectors to each tenant’s facility. The taxiway is connected to Taxiway N at a single intersection and has the potential to add tenants in the future. The Airport Layout Plan (ALP) shows Taxiway T being upgraded to meet Group III standards and relocated to a new alignment in conformance with FAA separation criteria.
