The Tate-Turner Kuralt Building was constructed in 1995 and is located at 325 Pittsboro Street, Chapel Hill, NC. The current traction type 2500 lb. rated elevators (DOL #15244, #15245) are original, and each serve five floors. Extensive elevator repairs are needed including the modernization and upgrades to controls, machines, car, wiring, hoist way, pit, cab, doors and communication components.
