NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT sealed Bids for the following services will be received by the Monroe
County Water Authority (the “Authority”) at its Operations Center, 475 Norris Drive, Rochester, New York
14610-0999, pursuant to Section 1108 of the Public Authorities Law, until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on
Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at which time and place they will be opened via WebEx or telephone
conferencing and read aloud. A WebEx meeting link will be sent out to all plan holders and posted at
https://www.mcwa.com/public-information/procurement-opportunities/, the meeting password is:
BidOpening. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
2026 Tank Rehabilitation Program
Repair and recoat the interior and exterior of one 1.25 million gallon steel elevated water storage
tank on a concrete pedestal located at 5445 East Main Street Road in the Town of Stafford; and recoat
the exterior roof on one 2.0 million gallon steel water storage standpipe located at 7980 Clinton Street
Road in the Town of Bergen.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 via WebEx
or telephone conferencing. If you wish to attend the video conference please email the Procurement
Officer, Justin Sullivan at justin.sullivan@mcwa.com to obtain an invite. A non-mandatory site visit will be
held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 first at Buffalo Road Tank (7980 Clinton Street Road,
Bergen, NY 14416) then at Temperance Hill East Tank (5445 East Main Street Road, Stafford, 14020).
Bidders may not climb the tanks.
The Bidding Documents, including drawings, may be obtained from the Monroe County Water Authority
by contacting Cady Joy at cady.joy@mcwa.com or (585) 442-2001 ext. 268 or by contacting Thomas Doerr
at tom.doerr@mcwa.com or (585) 442-2001 ext. 460. The Bidding Documents can be picked up at the
Operations Center by making arrangements with Ms. Joy or Mr. Doerr. The Bidding Documents can also
be sent out via FEDEX. There is no fee for the Bidding Documents.
