Sealed bids from licensed contractors for the construction of rehabilitation of two water tanks in Whelen Springs, Arkansas, will be received by Mayor Glen Hughes, City of Whelen Springs, Arkansas 316 East Main Street Whelen Springs, Arkansas 71772 until 2:00 pm
Tuesday, June 2, 2026 and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work consists of the rehabilitation of two water tanks projects-instruction
to Bidders, ACEDP grant requirements, Bid and Contract Forms, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined and obtained ($100.00 cost per hard set obtained; PDF copy at no charge) at www.alfranksengineering.com . All perspective bidders shall obtain a copy of the book no later than two working days prior to bid opening date.
Bidders as well as all subcontractors that may be acquired or used are expected to have an active Unique Entity Identifier Number through www.sam.gov the day of bid opening.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
