Solicitation Summary
The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) State Highway Administration (SHA) Easton Maintenance Facility is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide a front-loading milling machine (with operator) with the capabilities to mill existing pavement to a depth of no less than 2 inches with a minimum but not limited to a 6.5-foot, single pass with drum to perform site specific paving reconstruction on MD 404 alternate.
Firm fixed price lump sump. Estimated time to complete 2 days +/-. Estimated length is 2,000 ft in each lane. See graphic in IFB. Notice to proceed in May or June 2025.
