The Lake Tahoe Basin Barracks project includes the construction of various building systems at two buildings located within the Lake Tahoe Basin, California. The locations of the buildings are described below. This work generally includes exterior work at the Pope Barracks, and interior work at the Meeks Bay Barracks, more specifically includes updates to the deck, doors, windows, roofing and siding at the Pope Barracks, and interior renovations at the Meeks Barracks including insulation, gypsum wall board, paint, flooring, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, heating, water heater, and all finishes necessary to fully occupy the building. In addition, work will include a new 200 amp electrical service to the Meeks Barracks. All materials, equipment and workmanship shall be ADA compliant and completed in a manner that meets all provisions of the Architectural Barriers Act. A more detailed description of work is included below following the itemized bid schedule.
