Talking Rock Fire Station

PICKENS COUNTY GOVERNMENT IS ACCEPTING SEALED PROPOSALS FROM EXPERIENCED AND QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS FOR PROVIDING ALL LABOR, EQUIPMENT, AND MATERIALS REQUIRED TO CONSTRUCT A NEW FIRE STATION AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS. A CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED TO THE CONTRACTOR WHOSE PROPOSAL BEST SATISFIES THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS REQUEST AND BEST SERVES THE INTEREST OF PICKENS COUNTY. SEALED PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 1:30 PM LEGALLY PREVAILING TIME ON WEDNSDAY, MARCH 12, 2025, IN THE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE LOCATED AT 1266 EAST CHURCH STREET JASPER GA 30143. Proposal documents are only available for pick up at the PICKENS COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE 1266 EAST CHURCH STREET JASPER GA 30143.

Pickens County is requesting the following:
Bids that are turnkey including site prep.
Bids that are turnkey without site prep.
Pickens County may choose to do the site prep in house.
Submission Procedure
¿        Proposals conforming to the requirements set out below must be received by US mail or courier no that than the deadline given.
¿        Proposals must state that they are valid for a period of at least thirty (30) days from the closing deadline.
¿        Physical proposals must be marked, sealed, and submitted to Pickens County.
¿        Name and address of bidder must also appear on the envelope.
¿        Pickens County reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
¿        Pickens County reserves the right to negotiate with the selected bidder in the event that the price exceeds the available funds.
¿        Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof.
¿        Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.
¿        No bidder may withdraw a bid thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
