Take up Machines Rebuild/Service

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Leesona Corp. located at 2727 Tucker Rd. Burlington, NC 27215, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for the service/rebuild of four (4) Precision Take Up Machines: (1) 966, (2) 967, and (1) 968. These winders are used to package material on constant basis throughout the production process at Natick Soldier Systems Center (NSSC), located in Natick, MA. The contractor shall evaluate and repair/replace all necessary components to restore the product to the manufacturer’s operating specifications. Service will include necessary cleaning, adjustments, verification, lubrication, and parts replacement.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333249 and the size standard is 500 employees.
