Objective - To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed below. Note that the specific requirements are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Office of Acquisitions and Grants is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of publishing eight (8) USGS manuscripts in an energy science–themed journal. The journal must operate under a Creative Commons or similar license that provides immediate open access and permits others to freely share, distribute, and build upon the work with proper attribution.
The published manuscripts will be organized within a Scientific Results Volume (SRV) or comparable format that enables coordinated publication of multiple interrelated papers stemming from a large-scale research project. This approach ensures comprehensive integration, thematic consistency, and broad accessibility of the research findings.
