This includes the short- and long-term management and preservation of records on paper, as well as those created in a digital environment (“electronic records”). Over the next three years, Archives is building its capacity and expertise for electronic records management in phases by: improving its digital storage environments for short- and long-term needs; managing these records through a digital asset management system; and acquiring a digital preservation system that follows the OAIS standard, ISO 14721:2012. .

Offeror must meet the minimum technical score threshold outlined in the RFP to be invited to the demonstration stage. Offerors who meet the minimum threshold for the technical criteria will move on to the demonstration stage and will be invited for a two-hour demonstration, to consist of 90 minutes of demonstration followed by a question and answer period of 30 minutes either in person or via videoconferencing. Offerors are not required to take the whole time. Offerors should be prepared to give a live demonstration of the system being offered. Offerors who meet the minimum threshold for the demonstration technical criteria will move to the cost stage of the evaluation. The Offeror is required to provide a demonstration on the day-in-the-life of various user roles for their existing solution
