Can you please confirm potential start date?

Official construction start date is June 1, 2024. The school district will allow the contractor to

begin earlier if all competitions are completed.

Can infill be reused? This will assist in saving money for the school district and will not affect the

8-year warranty.

Yes, the existing turf infill is allowed to be reused if it is determined to be in good condition and it

does not compromise the Gmax testing and/or 8-year warranty.

Question 3:

District Response:

Can ambient rubber be used instead cryogenic rubber in the cooling technology? There is no

performance difference and again will assist in saving the school money. Ambient rubber is being

used in the base bid.

No. Cryogenic rubber must be used for the cooling composite.

The following alternative Turf brands are approved alternatives to what is listed in the original solicitation:

● Sprinturf – UltraBlade DFE Extreme 2.5in

● Hellas – Fusion XP2 2.5in
