Question 1: In the “Materials and Products – Alternate” section of the project manual, the pile weight for

FieldTurf Vertex Core – FTVTC-1 + Cooling Composite is listed as 42oz/square yard. This system

has a pile weight of 47oz/square yard (same as base bid). Can this be updated in the bid documents to

the correct pile weight? If so, will an addendum be issued to address this update?

District Response: Pile Weight for Alternate FieldTurf Verter Core – FTVC-1 + Cooling Composite shall be

47oz/square yard.
